Another rider has been suspended after having performed extra intensive tests due to suspiciously looking blood values in the rider's biological passport. Manuel Vazquez (Andalucia-Caja Sur) has been tested positive of EPO in an out of competition test performed on March 20, 2010.

Thomas Frei has today admitted to have doped himself with EPO since EPO and therefore refrained from a counter-analysis of the original A-sample. His contract with the BMC Racing Team has consequently been terminated.
Although it is sad to see a young rider walking being caught for doping abuse, I think it's at least a nice thing that he doesn't lie about it and claim his innocence like hundreds have done before him.

Landis confirmed he sent e-mails to cycling and anti-doping officials over the past few weeks, implicating dozens of other athletes, team management and owners; and officials of the sport's national and international governing bodies. . . . According to Landis, his first use of performance-enhancing drugs was in June 2002, when he was a member of the U.S. Postal Service team. The World Anti-Doping Agency's statute of limitations for doping offenses is eight years, and Landis said that, too, is part of his motivation for divulging his inflammatory information.
"Now we've come to the point where the statute of limitations on the things I know is going to run out or start to run out next month," Landis said. "If I don't say something now then it's pointless to ever say it."

Further details, for those of you who speak Danish, can be found in this article from feltet.dk: http://feltet.dk/index.php?id_parent=262&id=276&id_nyhed=25864
Basically, Landis admits to have doped since 2002-2003 and claims that Johan Bruyneel and Lance Armstrong were the ones who introduced him to the use of EPO, blood doping, steroids and human growth hormones. This could be a serious bomb under the cycling world, and I'm looking forward to learning, if Floyd Landis can come up with the necessary evidence to back up these accusations.
Given the history of many of Lance Armstrong's super-helpers (Tyler Hamilton, Roberto Heras, Manuel Beltran and Floyd Landis, among others) and Lance Armstrong himself, I wouldn't be surprised if many of the things are actually true. I just don't understand why Floyd Landis litterally ruined himself in the attempt to prove his innocense, if he had in fact doped all since 2002. The image of a bitter man wanting to take down more with him is likely to weaken his case. Whatever the final outcome will be, it's another huge blow to Lance Armstrong and his stubborn denial of any doping involvement throughout his career, and I'm looking forward to seeing what'll be the next step of action in this case.

Pat McQuaid apparently says they won't investigate Armstrong without any type of evidence to support the claims from Landis

I guess he got paid a lot for the story...........lets hope it's enough to cover the lawsuits that are bound to follow, I hope he has some evidence to back up his claims.....
It'll be a massive sucker punch for lance if he does.....
*** Also having now read the article properly, I would suggest that he feels bitter that he doped and got caught and that he is pissed Armstrong has got away with it for so long and might get away with it again this year !! ****

He even says that his (former?) best mate DZ did the same thing as he did. This is really getting serious.
