| If we are going to have a tour team full of formerly doped spaniards (De La Fuente ??? FFS) I will support another team. Schleckies probably. |

I never thought I would consider something like that, and I probably won't be able to cheer for another team, but it will be very very hard cheering for Contador. I would definitely prefer to see the team without a shot at the podium next year then with "AC and the doped fellows" |

I will always support Schlecks, and of course Saxo. But if Contador joins, I don't know yet.

I'm still here ! (After the basso incident I promised to leave) We have had other suspicius riders in the past (Frank, just to mention the least serius one), and riders going well beyond suspicion. So I guess I'll be here with Contador should that unlikely happend. I just like the team no mather what.
Only Jensie can make me change my support

I do not like Contador, but I could live with him in the team, but what concerns me the most is that he will bring some three or four indifferent spanish guys to the team. If we at the same time loose Fuglsang and Breschel I am having difficulties seeing this as a danish team. Why is it that Riis seems to be finished with the danish riders when they have finally reached a level where they are able to create great results...? This is a danish team, so when there are actually (finally) some danish profiles they ought to be on the team. Then I would rather prefer a smaller budget and having Breschel and Fuglsang as profiles instead of Contador and his entourage.
In order to really understand me you must think |

Indeed that's the main problem i think. We already lost Bak last year, now if we lose Fuglsang and Breschel... The best danish riders should be in THE danish team. |

I try to see it the other way round. Riis gives Danish talents a chance to prove their worth on the team. When they reach top level he will not necessarily be able to match the offers from other teams. Matti is currently only paid about 200.000 Euros and Rabo is obviously going to give him several times more in a new contract. From a strictly national Danish point of view: Why not let Matti get the experience and high class wages at Rabobank? It might be good for his developement as a rider.
A rider like Anders Lund might be the next Danish rider to step up a level. I think Riis is great for Danish cycling. |

My friend said that LaDepeche.fr reported today the Schlecks had a firm offer from the Shack if things don't pan out for their Lux team. I know we've thought this was a possibility, but I was wondering if anyone else had heard this tidbit?

It's official now that the Schlecks are leaving. http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/schlecks-and-riis-part-company
@Mashjaja: I haven't read anything about it recently, but we all know that Armstrong and Bruyneel are interested, and the Schlecks get along well with Armstrong, so I still consider it as a possibility.
