That article indicates that the 2nd named sponsor will be named in the Autumn when it suits "that" company......
Very interesting point this and I guess it will only add to the speculation of who it might be.......?

For the moment 10 riders are contracted for 2011 :
C.A.Sørensen (2012) F.Cancellara (2011) G.Larsson (2011) N.Sørensen (2011) JJ.Haedo (2011) Jaroslaw Marycz (neopro=2011) Lucas Sebastian Haedo (neopro=2011) Richie Porte (neopro=2011) Jonas Aaen Jørgensen (neopro=2011) Laurent Didier (neopro=2011)
I think Laurent Didier could leave for the new Lux team though. |

Did the sponsor analyst on TV2 just mention that Adidas would be the logical sponsor of Riis because they liked the Wozniacki relationship, and having their name in the team is ideal...?

| Wouldn't it just... Riis, fits with their "player development program" style that they have on the tennis scene. |

Great news that he is staying, and promising words from Jakob, although I suspect he is going to want bjarne to part with some cash to keep him.......... . I think he rates himself a little highly considering his results thus far

great news.
Any information about the budget, as I am still sure that the Schlecks want to stay.
When we would have a global budget at around 15 million euro per year we could probably afford to keep the Schlecks and Fabian. |

You are welcome to your opinion, but the only chance of the Schlecks staying is if the plans of the Luxembourg falls through. |

The Lux team will fall, when the Schlecks want sign. The Schlecks problem is that they want to be loyal to Kim Andersen (as he was their first contact person in Saxo) and they want to be loyal to Bjarne.
The Lux team (hm) they lost already one of their key riders (kirchen) and other riders like Didier don't do a statement at all. Fuglsang is also not decided yet.
Yes they have a rich businessman (Becca) with italian origins. But I heard that their budget would also not be that much (a bit more than 10 million euro per year). I can't imagine that the Schlecks do find Becca sympathetic. For me Kim and Bjarne are symphatetic.
In the end the Schlecks will ride for Lance (due to a lack of money from Bjarne) and Kim Andersen will also join Radioshack. |

I'm not sure if it will be Team Sungard-Something. For me it looks rather like Team Something-Sungard.
Why?
1. Someone from Sungard said about taking it step by step (minor sponsor, then title sponsor and then - in the future - main sponsor).
2. Jakob Fuglsang wrote on Twitter that Sungard will step up and a new main sponsor is found. And something like that I have read at some websites. |

To be fair against Rolf I think he means that because Andy and Frank are gone its to late for Bjarne. Cause if he really means that Riis have already lost all of the good riders he is stupid as hell. Furthermore its not matching really well with the fact Chris and Fabian already are under contract and Matti says he want to stay.
To me Fabian, Matti, Porte and Fuglesang is the most important riders and maybe add a true GC rider and you have the backbone of Team Sungaard-?. The other riders can be replaced.

Very loyal, and a tribute to a man who really has done alot for cycling over the last 10 odd years

Don't forget it was Riis who gave Frank his real breakthrough after he couldn't find his rhythm at various teams before he joined Riis, who also brought along Andy as a stagiaire. The rest is history :)
In some sense the brothers owe Riis a lot, but that's not how cycling works, and Riis knows this. It's a shame but cycling is a tough business.
It was Kim Andersen that worked with the brothers all the time
