| Do rumors still persist that the Marzotto Group (Team Hugo Boss) is the mystery sponsor to be announced at Tours end? |

| Riis should take a serious look at hiring Michael Rasmussen if the Schlecks bail out to the new Luxembourg team. |

Not read anything lately re Hugo Boss. I don't think anybody actually knows but Siemens, Adidas, Nortel, GN Jabra were the latest guesses in the press.
Based on his stance re doping, I doubt Bjarne would go near any rider with a press history? I can't see it would be a wise move considering the difficulty getting sponsors these days?
Would Michael ever get allowed back to the TDF?
Maybe Kim Andersen could hire him and leave Andy, Jakob, and Matti alone.
Others here probably know better on that subject. |

It would be a disaster to hire Rasmussen. It would ruin the teams doping-free reputation. And the only one who is sure that Michael Rasmussen can win a Grand tour is Michael Rasmussen. He is getting old.
Even if the team DID hire Rasmussen, they wouldn't be sure he would be welcome in either of the GTs since ASO hates him, and they own parts of both the giro, vuelta and obiously the tour.

Indeed, Not that i think he should come to Riis, but I can't help feeling that according to there own rules, he is just a entitled to a return as say Basso, Vino, Moreau, or certain other Riders in the press... Didn't Fignon get banned once too? |

I think it's weird that so many (especially danes) would like to see Rasmussen on our team. He has been here, and it was no succes. And then there are his way off handling the whereabouts case from when he was pulled from the tour, he is no rider for us.

Now that the team got new headsponsors, I think its pretty good that Saxo Bank is leaving. In Denmark there is currently a police investegation in against the bank because it might have been started with illegal money.
Not the best sponsers Bjarne got back in 2008. Hopefully the new ones a better |

| According to the French Tv commentator, Thierry Adam, the new sponsor for the Riis team in 2011 is the german group Siemens. It was a rumor in the peloton since several days. We will see, we know that Sungard will be the co-sponsor. |

was apparently registered on the 5th of July, the day before the new sponsor deal with Sungard was announced....

Yes they are And including that, they won't support a second cycling team (with a big amount). |

Indeed, but they could drop Sky.... The sponsorship specialists point was they were looking for a team brand, i.e having there name in the team. maybe sky will not go there.
Anyway it was speculation in the public domain hence Listed. |
