That implies Matti is off to Rabo? Anyone heard anything to confirm that?. It would be a big loss IMHO

I wouldn't be so sure. In this article it is said that it seems most likely that Breschel will continue at Sungard-XXX. However, the article says that Fuglsang seems lost for Riis.

Most of the news about Matti / Rabobank is from the Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf, which has not a very reliable reputation as I already mentioned before.

The link below is the first one where there is actually an opinion from a rider is being given:

hehe you've gotta love the way that the media are always contradiction each other..

This link says that Matti has turned down the offer from Rabobank, and that he is going to the new Lux team..

Gets even better when Matti said in Danish TV that he was choosing between two teams, and one of them was Riis'

Exactly... I'm hoping he stays with Riis!

With a US sponsor and Bike supplier, it might be a good move to get another American or Canadian rider.

The problem is that with Radio Shack and Garmin both having development teams and lots of North American riders on the Highroad and BMC rosters, there are not too many prospects who don't get signed early by them.

Larson Craddock has some decent results riding for team USA, he is only 18 so may be a bit young still.

The best bet could be Tejay Van Garderen who is going to be a good GC rider in a few years. He is under contract with HTC now, but was previously on the RaboBank developemnt team, so he has experience rided on a European team.

I had suggested Danny Summerhill, too. Or Bjorn Sealander.
