Great news, but...
Same level? That means? |

And second sponsor will be announced, but they prefer to be anonymous right now (????)
The same applied to the Nygaard/Andersen sponsor. Will they return to Riis after all and combine forces? |

It is probably because they want the team to ride under the name of a new product yet to be launched. |

Doubt it....but ''shrug''

I am pretty certain the name of the team will be Team Sungard-Jabra. Sungard is obviously out now, but Jabra is a product of GN Netcom, and that's why he can't reveal them now. They want to maximize the sale-potential.
Great news for this team, but I'm certain A and F Schleck is gone as well as Jakob Fuglsang. Matti will stay. |

I like how Andy said ''if Riis couldn't get a sponsor, it would be over for Cycling''
Very loyal, and a tribute to a man who really has done alot for cycling over the last 10 odd years

Don't forget it was Riis who gave Frank his real breakthrough after he couldn't find his rhythm at various teams before he joined Riis, who also brought along Andy as a stagiaire. The rest is history :)
In some sense the brothers owe Riis a lot, but that's not how cycling works, and Riis knows this. It's a shame but cycling is a tough business. |

I hink the most sad thing is, that had it just been up to Frank, I believe he would have stayed. |

Andy could have expressed slightly more desire to stay when asked about his future...
I seriously hope Jakob stays... I can't see any benefit leaving to a team that has zero chances for him being a captain.
On the wild speculation re second sponsor... What's Thor's contract status? Telenor was mentioned earlier, and perhaps that would be incumbent on bringing Norway's favourite onboard? |

Don't think Thor wants to ride in the same team as Cancellara - they have to many similar strengths
