Thats very exciting, looking forward to see how he can do in such a race - we shouldn't expect to much though, as its a month before his first form peak

It's only two weeks before the Amstel Gold Race, so he should be able to at least finish the race. Riding de Ronde is totally different than riding a race like L-B-L, though, so we shouldn't expect too much. But if Vandenbroucke could do it, why couldn't Andy?

Andy won't ride the Ronde van Vlaanderen. Like I said before, it's a different type of racing and he's probably not used to that kind of nervosity in a peloton, it could ruin the hilly classics if he falls.

Great and very interesting reading! It's sad to see how the relationship between former team mates can be ruined the way it has between the Schlecks and Carlos Sastre, but I appreciate the honesty about it and notice that, at least from Andy's side, there is a willingness to try to bury the hatchet. And I hope that will happen.

It seems that the atmosphere in the team is really good and that they have the perfect conditions to prepare for another great season for Team Saxo Bank.

"I know you'll want to hear juicy gossip stories but the truth is that's there's no news and nothing to confirm. Obviously Frank and I have had offers from other teams but it's no secret that we're out of contract at the end of the year and with Saxo Bank pulling out, other teams are looking to sign us.

However I'm still convinced that Bjarne will come up with the goods and find a new sponsor and make us an offer to stay. I'm close to him, I love my team and my teammates and I hope that things work out for the best but we'll discuss things when the Tour is finished."

Now we heard it again from the man himself. I really think they want to stay, they couldn't have better support than they have with Riis.

Even I agree that the Schlecks propably would like to stay with Riis, at this part of the season you'll rarely have a pro say something different.
